handwoven cotton cushion cover textured 18x18 – durable & washable, Ivory

A plain-weave cotton cushion cover with a deliberately variable weft tension that creates a wrinkled, crepe-like texture on the face. This surface relief is produced by a technique called "weft manipulation" — the weaver periodically releases and retightens the beater during weaving, causing the weft threads to pack unevenly. The result is a permanently textured surface that does not require ironing and looks intentional in context.

Construction Details

• Weft-manipulation texture — the surface crinkle is structural, not applied; it cannot wash out and is consistent across the full face of the cover
• 100% combed ring-spun cotton — combing removes short fiber ends before spinning, producing a cleaner yarn with fewer surface pills after washing
• Concealed zipper closure, 16-inch zip — zip sits on the bottom edge; the zipper tape is sewn behind a folded cotton flap so it is not visible from the front
• 18×18 inch fit — fits standard 18×18 pillow inserts with a snug, tailored fit; if you prefer a puffier look, use a 20×20 insert

Materials & Care

100% combed ring-spun cotton, cover only. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or lay flat. Do not bleach. The textured surface may appear slightly more pronounced after washing as the cotton fibers swell — this is normal and will relax with use.
