"A beautiful textile is not just decor; it's the foundation of a comfortable home."
We never compromise on the quality of our fibers. We use only the finest natural materials, selected for their beauty, softness, and durability.
Sourced for its resilience and natural warmth. Our wool is processed with minimal chemicals to preserve its natural oils and texture.
Breathable and incredibly soft, our cotton is ideal for year-round comfort. Durable enough to be machine washable while maintaining its shape.
From the rugged strength of jute to the silky luxury of alpaca, we select fibers that provide unique sensory experiences and lasting performance.
CozysLooms began in Louisville, Kentucky in 2026 as a direct response to a specific frustration: the difficulty of finding genuinely handwoven home textiles in the US market at prices that didn't require wholesale minimums or a luxury retailer markup.
The founder, based in Louisville's Bardstown Road corridor, had spent years sourcing textiles for personal use — wool throws for Kentucky winters, cotton flatweave rugs for the warmer months — and consistently found that what was marketed as "handwoven" was either machine-made with a hand-finished edge, or genuinely handwoven but priced at $300+ through boutique retailers.
CozysLooms was registered as an LLC in Kentucky in 2026 to solve exactly that gap: source verified handwoven textiles directly, at transparent pricing, with US-based customer service and a 30-day return policy that doesn't require the customer to prove the item arrived damaged.
The first collection launched with a deliberate focus on five categories we knew well as buyers: wool throws, cotton flatweaves, alpaca blends, jute rugs, and woven wall hangings. We chose these specifically because they each use a different fiber with genuinely different care requirements — and we believed (and still believe) that a retailer who can accurately explain the difference between a 2/2 twill and a plain-weave wool, or between an acid dye and a reactive dye, is more trustworthy than one who describes everything as "premium crafted."
Our product descriptions are written to be technically accurate, not just aspirational. If a jute runner cannot be machine washed (it can't — it will fall apart), we say so directly. If a cotton throw needs to be washed separately on first wash because the dye hasn't fully set yet, we tell you that too.
