Lumbar Woven Pillow Cover Striped Linen – Maintains Shape After Washing, Neutral Colors, 14x22

A second lumbar cover option with a specific focus on dimensional stability. Both the cotton and linen yarns are run through a controlled hot-water preshrink cycle before weaving — a process called "sanforization" at the yarn level. Post-wash shrinkage in this cover is verified at less than 2% in both warp and weft directions, meaning the 14×22-inch stated size is the size you will have after washing, not before.

Construction Details

• Pre-shrunk cotton-linen blend — both yarn components are preshrunk before weaving; the finished cover is then washed once more after weaving to eliminate any residual shrinkage from the weaving process itself
• Neutral palette — soft gray, natural, and warm taupe — three yarn tones woven in a 3:2:1 stripe ratio; all three tones use low-impact reactive dyes rated for 50+ wash cycles without significant fading
• Same 70/30 cotton-linen composition as our natural-tone lumbar cover, but with the pre-shrink treatment applied
• Hidden zipper closure, 18-inch — longer zipper than our other cushion covers to accommodate the rectangular lumbar format without distortion; zip pulls to the underside edge

Materials & Care

70% pre-shrunk cotton, 30% pre-shrunk linen. Machine wash cold or warm (up to 40°C), gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. The pre-shrink treatment means this cover tolerates slightly warmer washing temperatures than our other covers without dimensional change. Warm iron for wrinkles.
