A 14×22-inch lumbar pillow cover woven from a cotton-linen blend (70% cotton, 30% linen) in a narrow horizontal stripe: 1-inch natural linen stripe alternating with 1-inch natural cotton stripe. The two fibers have different natural tones without any dye — linen is a cooler gray-beige while cotton is a warmer ivory — producing a subtle two-tone stripe from fiber color alone.

Construction Details

• Cotton-linen blend, weft-stripe — alternating shuttles of undyed linen and undyed cotton create the stripe; no dye is used on either component, so the stripe comes entirely from natural fiber color variation
• Linen component — 30% long-staple linen — adds a characteristic slight stiffness and "rustle" to the cover that pure cotton cannot replicate; linen also becomes softer and more pliable with each wash
• Cotton-linen blend durability — linen is one of the strongest natural fibers; the 30% linen content significantly increases abrasion resistance compared to 100% cotton at the same weight
• Envelope closure — the back panel uses a 4-inch overlapping envelope flap rather than a zipper or buttons; completely washable and does not require any hardware
• 14×22 inches — standard lumbar size; fits standard 14×22 inserts snugly, or 16×24 for a puffier look

Materials & Care

70% cotton, 30% linen (both undyed). Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or lay flat. The linen component means the cover will wrinkle more than 100% cotton — this is expected and can be smoothed with a warm iron (cotton setting) while slightly damp.
